Marvin Edeas - Important Research on HIV

At Paris Descartes University, Marvin Edeas (www.researchgate.net/profile/marvin_edeas2) underscored the effects of co-infections and oxidative stress in patients suffering with HIV. The six years he put in at the Antoine Béclère Hospital helped him to explore the latency mechanisms of the HIV virus in patients who are HIV positive, along with the activation factors. The factors that produce blastogenic plasma in Type 1 cases of HIV were defined by him in 1997. Marvin Edeas was a participant in the first clinical study on the effects of antiretroviral therapy on lactic acidosis and hyperlactatemia.

Chair of the French Society (SFA) and International Society of Antioxidants (ISANH) and Founder of the World Mitochondria Society (WMS)

Marvin Edeas, the SFA and ISANH aim to transfer their research to real applications whether clinical, pharmaceutical, nutritional or cosmetic. The well-established French Society of Antioxidants (SFA) is chaired by him. Marvin Edeas is the founder and Chair of the International Society of Antioxidants in Nutrition & Health (ISANH) which was developed in the year 1998.

Marvin Edeas - Past

At the Paris-Descartes University, Marvin Edeas pursued a course on infectious diseases. In the year 1998, he got his doctorate from Antoine Béclère Hospital on HIV infections in symptomless patients. He educated from 2004 to 2013 at the Paris Bobigny and Poitiers Universities. In the beginning of the 90's, Marvin Edeas was hired by Armand Trousseau Hospital in the Pulmonary Diseases Department.

The global conference "Targeting Microbiota and Mitochondria" is chaired by Marvin Edeas. His yearly congress, Paris Redox, is logically taken control of by the Chair of the International Society of Antioxidants. He affiliates with the Agency of Biomedicine, the Agency for the Evaluation of Research and Higher-Education (AERES), and Krakow's National Science Center. Marvin Edeas chairs various scientific committees, such as the Congress on Targeting Mitochondria and Microbiota.

Medicine, cosmetology and dietetics could all reap benefits from Oyster hydrolyzate. The breakthroughs Marvin Edeas has made have all proved to carry a real-world use. The utilisation of an oyster enzyme hydrolyzate in a composition that gets rid of free radicals and also modulates oxidative stress is what his patents were related to. Two Nrf-2 modulators separated from peptides and proteins, which can activate the antioxidant defence system, were identified by Marvin Edeas.
